My junior year so far is very interesting it’s not what I had expected. This semester is really tough on me more than I thought it would. Well honestly I could have had better work ethic. I’m not passing every single class that I’m supposed to. I hope to catch up and be on pace before the semester ends. I just need a few things to in order to achieve my goal. I have too many distractions that don’t allow me to be focused. My distractions are friends and electronics. My family encourages me to get back on pace by telling me to do my homework and have perseverance.
I'm having trouble being on pace this semester because of little things. In some of my classes I fall behind because I can’t keep up with the teachers pace or I’m having trouble on how to do the work. I stay after school in some of my classes in order to catch up. I get work done but it’s never enough to be on pace. I try my best to do my work during class so I don’t fall behind. I need to do homework every single day so it won’t start to pile on and get hard to do late and new work. I have stayed up until one in the morning in order to finish my English homework not even then was I on pace. Junior year has brought sleepless nights that are too many to count.
The distractions in my life have become a habit that’s not doing me any good. I’m not focused on school work and that should be my number priority to graduate high school. I’m always on social networks and I don’t worry about turning things in on time. I should be worried I want to graduate and make my family proud. Junior year is hard I don’t want to imagine how senior year will be. I’m trying to be on pace by the end of the first semester but right now that seems difficult but not impossible. I don’t plan on giving up I want to give it my all to graduate. I don’t want to be a senior having to do junior year work and senior work. I need to get rid of bad habits in order to be more focused. I need to stop socializing and stop using electronics at home unless its school related. I know for a fact I’m not going to pass vet science it’s very difficult because the tests are not multiple choice and you need to get every single question right you can't miss one. I love animals and vet science is a very hard class. I would like to job shadow a vet here in Lindsay. I want to ask questions that will inform me more about becoming a vet. It’s something I'm interested in learning more about. I would like to know the education that is required for the job. I want to graduate so I can be on the right pathway to become a vet.
